Greensboro Islamic Academy (GIA), the only full-time Islamic
school in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, is currently
accepting applications for Homeroom and Substitute Teachers to
start in August 2007.
Qualified applicants should fulfill the following
requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree
(or higher) in Education or a related field

|
A U.S. teaching certificate is desirable
|
|
|
Able to work in an Islamic environment
|
|
|
Fluent in English
|
|
|
Authorization to work in the U.S.

All teachers must have effective classroom management, organization
and language skills, computer skills, and a commitment to the
teaching profession.

will be expanding to the fifth grade starting in August 2007,
